Baltimore-based psychotherapy for becoming your best self.

I help individuals of all ages get to the root of their issues so they can get rid of anxiety, overcome depression, and live the life they actually want.

Hey, I’m Alyssa! 👋

I’m a Psychology professor at Loyola University and the founder of Weinman Wellness Center.

I know how much therapy can change a person’s life. That’s why I opened Weinman Wellness Center, a private practice specializing in providing warm, approachable mental health services to help individuals create the life they truly want to live.

I love helping people find their passions, take back control of their lives, and reclaim their happiness.

When I’m not with clients or teaching, you can find me reading, spending time with friends in nature, and exploring Baltimore’s best restaurants!

Alyssa Weinman, M.S., LGPC

Owner of Weinman Wellness Center

I’m here for the deep-feelers.

The ones who were told they were “too emotional” or “too much”.

The people who are tired of struggling with people-pleasing, low self-confidence, and the inability to set boundaries.

Here, all your emotions are welcome.

Therapy for…

  • We know that it’s hard to be a teenager right now. With expectations to portray a perfect life/perfect body on Instagram, Snapchat, and Tiktok, while simultaneously experiencing academic stress, peer pressure, identity exploration, family conflicts, self-esteem challenges, and mental health disorders like anxiety and depression, it’s no wonder you feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and misunderstood! By providing a supportive and confidential space for adolescents to explore their emotions, develop coping skills, enhance self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and build resilience, we help empower teens to successfully navigate the complex transition into adulthood.

  • As much as we wish it did, becoming an adult doesn’t come with a handbook. I know what it’s like to feel like no matter how hard you try, you’re constantly fighting an uphill battle. That even though things look good from the outside, inside you’re still stuck feeling overwhelmed, unhappy, lost, burnt out, and like you’re not enough.

I specialize in providing trauma-informed, culturally competent therapy for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trust issues, parenting, work stress, people-pleasing tendencies and perfectionism, confidence issues, grief and loss, and more. Whether you recently had a big change in your life or have been feeling this way for years, I’m here to help you break out of old cycles and learn the skills to feel better and accomplish your goals. You deserve to enjoy a life where you feel safe, calm, and happy!
